Yolanda Rodriguez

Yolanda M. Rodriguez, age 70, passed away on December 24, 2019 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on February 9, 1949 in Kingsville, Texas to Ruben Mendez and Viola Martinez. She was a woman of many talents, obtaining several degrees and continuing 18 years in education throughout her career.

She was preceded in death by both her parents.

Yolanda is survived by her husband, Ramon Rodriguez; one son, Ramon Rodriguez; two daughters, Yvette Rodriguez, and Timmie (Mark) Diaz; 3 grandchildren, Brianna Diaz, Samantha Diaz, and Mark Diaz Jr.; and two brothers, Ruben Mendez Jr. and Javier Mendez; two nieces, Michelle Mendez, and Christina  Mendez; and one nephew, Javier Mendez Jr., all of which are from Kingsville, Texas.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
