Tawni Osborne

Tawni Jo (Ozzy) Osborne, of Riviera Texas, passed away on June 1, 2020 in Corpus Christi, Texas after battling a long illness. She was born on October 26, 1971 in Kingsville, Texas to Houston and Cynthia Osborne.

She attended King High School and received her GED 1988.  Tawni chose her life partner Charles Strubhart  August 8, 1988.  Not only was Tawni smart and pretty, but had a clever since of humor and loved to make people laugh. She had a beautiful soul and it shined brightly with her kindness and patience with people as well as animals. Even though she had an early life of heartache and adversity, she still had a zest for life and was diligent about always doing things that made her happy. She enjoyed photography, drawing, music, rescuing animals  in need, above all she loved her horses. Tawni was self employed and didn’t mind hard work. In her early twenties and thirties she did construction and was a breeder for small pets.  Her passion was breeding and raising horses. She loved and spent many years learning from her dear and  old friend Rene Garcia on breeding, raising and training horses. Tawni never felt more alive and happiest as when she was riding and roping at Rene’s ranch. You can see her joy in the picture on a horse named Tequila practicing roping.

She was preceded in death by both parents.

Tawni is survived by her loving and adoring husband of 32 years, Charles Strubhart and by her half- brother Tracy Heiser. She is also survived by loving in-laws, nieces and nephews.
