In 1953, they moved to Kingsville, Tx hometown of Charles. Together they raised 5 children. Charles worked for the railroad which took them to different places. She loved watching the news, The Weather Channel, crime dramas, and anything about World War II and Texas history. She was into genealogy and loved learning about Taylor history.
