Samuel Diaz Iii

Samuel (Sammy) Diaz III, age 57, passed away on July 30, 2020 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born April 10, 1963 to Samuel Jr. and Esperanza Diaz. Samuel graduated from H.M. King High School in 1981. He was a devoted husband, dedicated and faithful brother and minister in the Christian faith. He enjoyed gardening, was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and Sports enthusiast, and was a faithful friend to all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by both his parents.

Samuel is survived by his wife of 37 years, Rosalinda Diaz (Garza); siblings, Anna Marie Galvan, Sandy Marie (Johnny) Alvarado, Steven Rene Diaz, John Raymond (Jennifer) Diaz; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The Diaz Family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Christus Spohn Hospital-Kleberg and Christus Spohn Shoreline.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with a prayer service to begin at 6:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
