Obituary

Raul R. Rodriguez, Sr, 81, of Kingsville Tx, passed away on August 3, 2022. He was born in Kingsville Tx, on April 22, 1941, to Tomas L. and Carolina R. Rodriguez. He worked at the King Ranch for Mr. and Mrs. Clements for 50 plus years. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 54 years, Maria M. Rodriguez; and daughter, Maria Ada Rodriguez.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Rose (Thomas) Childs and Irene (Arturo) Olivarez; sons, Raul (Janie) Rodriguez, Jr and Tomas Rodriguez; siblings, Lenor Young, Fernando (Grace) Rodriguez, and Roman (Ana) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Lawrence (Cheyanne) Avelar, Priscilla (David) Alegria, Jose (Danielle) Avelar, Christina (Albert) Rangel, Amanda Garza, Michael Rodriguez, Horacio Rodriguez, Deborah Rodriguez, Kimberly Rodriguez, Jennifer Macias, Natalie (Joey) Ramirez, Norma Figuero, and Tomas Rodriguez, Jr; 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 8, 2022, at Turcotte Piper Mortuary from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with a holy rosary at 10:30 AM and a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Services will conclude that morning.
