Maria Garcia

Maria Teresa Garcia, age 86, passed away July 3, 2019 in Kingsville, Texas. She was born on March 24, 1933 in Kingsville, Texas to Gerardo Guajardo and Julia Salinas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerardo and Julia Guajardo; first husband, Edmundo Noriega; step-father, Maximiliano Garcia; brothers, Beto Garcia, Jose Maria Garcia, and Servando Domingo Garcia; sons, Jesus Noriega, and Hector Noriega; and her great grandson, JR Rodriguez Jr.

Maria is survived by her son, Jorge Noriega; brothers, Jesus Garcia, and Daniel Arnoldo Garcia; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with a rosary to follow that same evening at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at Riviera Cemetery.
