Joseph Scramuzza

Joseph Scramuzza, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, at the age of 96.  He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. Joseph proudly served his country during World War II in the Unites States Navy.  He will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delfina Scrumuzza, and parents; Joseph and Eufemia Scramuzza.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his son, Michael (Cheryl) Scramuzza; daughter, Mary (Bobby) Curbow; grandsons, Joe Anthony (Erica) Scramuzza and Bobby (Stevy) Curbow; great-grandchildren, Alexa, Freddie, Derek, Miles, Laney, Hudson, and Mallory; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM; with a eulogy to begin at 12:00 PM and military honors to begin at 12:30 PM.  Services will conclude that afternoon.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Curbow, Joe Scramuzza, Bruce Rogers, Ibrey Nunez, Freddie Sanchez, and Jimmy Rogers.
