Jennie L. Rocha

Jennie Rocha, 77, of Kingsville, passed away September 12, 2019, with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Kenneth and Emma Hurley on April 2, 1942, in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Jennie graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1960.

She married the late Roland Rocha in 1967 and lived in several states with the Air Force for twenty years until Roland retired and they settled in Kingsville, Texas. Jennie is survived by her daughter, Robin Robertson, and son-in-law, Hardy Robertson, of Kingsville. She is also survived by three grandsons: Justin Hurley, John Hardy Robertson and Jack Robertson. She was the dear sister of Phyllis Kay Ricks (late Harry Ricks) and will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Jennie is preceded in death by her loving husband in 2005 and her son, Timothy Hurley in 2017.

Jennie worked as the Loan Manager of Kingsville Area Educators Federal Credit Union in Kingsville for over 37 years. She enjoyed working with all of her coworkers and credit union members for all those years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A memorial ceremony to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX 78363.
