Jacob Barrera, Jr.

Jacob Allen Barrera, Jr., 28, passed away on December 22, 2020 in College Station, Texas. He was born on February 16, 1992 in Kingsville, Texas to Jacob Allen Barrera, Sr. and Melanie Clemons. Jacob was an amazing dad, son, and brother. Jacob worked side by side with his father and was co-owner of Jacob & Sons Painting and Remodeling in Houston, Tx. His daughter Ella was his world! He was the kindest soul anyone could have gotten the chance to meet. He was the jokester of the family and his laugh will forever be missed. We thank you for this day of life, recognizing that it is a precious, unrepeatable gift. We trust that you are with us each moment, whether we sense your presence or not. A life lived close to you was never dull or predictable. Forever in our hearts we cherish those amazing memories created.

He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Nilda Barrera and Anita Barrera; and stepfather, Jimmy Miller.

Jacob is survived by his father, Jacob Barrera, Sr.; mother, Melanie Clemons; daughter, Elizabeth Jade Barrera; grandparents, Stanley L. Clemons and Marlena Clemons; brothers, Jimmy Miller and Diego Barrera; sisters, Gina Wyles and Camryn Miller; other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with a Chapel service to begin at 4:00 p.m. that afternoon.
