Graciela Rodriguez

Graciela Q. Rodriguez, age 78, went home to be with the Lord on March 13, 2020. She was born on July 18, 1941 in Kingsville, Texas to Alberto and Sofia P. Quintanilla. She married Fernando Rodriguez on March 16, 1968 in Kingsville, Texas and went on to raise two daughters. She worked in retail for 28 years, and banking for 7 years. She loved volunteering at Christus Spohn Hospital and did it for 10 years, she also enjoyed helping with adult literacy and was a council volunteer for 5 years. She will be missed dearly.

Graciela is preceded in death by her parents, Alberto and Sofia P. Quintanilla, siblings, Alonzo Quintanilla, Eliberto Quintanilla, and Belia Perez.

She is survived by her husband, Fernando Rodriguez, daughters, Patricia R. (Noel) Calvo, and Laura M. Rodriguez, grandchildren, Nicholas M. White, Chelsea M. Calvo, Jonathan N. Calvo; Brothers, Alberto P. (Judy) Quintanilla, and Roel Quintanilla, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 5:00 pm with services beginning at 7:00 pm at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. On Thursday March 19, 2020 a graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, TX; a funeral procession will depart from Turcotte-Piper Mortuary at 12:00 pm.

As for me and my house we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15.
