We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary
Fay Moore Curbow was called home on April 16. She was born on April 4, 1938, in her beloved hometown of Kingsville, Texas, where she lived for most of her life.
Fay is survived by three children, Peggy May (Steve), Bobby Curbow (Mary) and Kelly Curbow, as well as seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, and her sister.
Fay’s husband, Bobby Wayne Curbow, preceded her in December 2020. During more than 75 years of marriage, they were always dedicated to the family they made together. The life Fay and Bobby shared will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville. Following the service, Fay and Bobby will be laid to rest side by side at Chamberlain Cemetery, in the company of their friends and family who preceded them.
Throughout her 84 years, Fay touched the lives of many friends and family members, none more than her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Dubbed Meme when she first became a grandmother, she was the at center of her closely knit family for decades.
She was much loved and is greatly missed.
For those who would prefer to make a charitable contribution in lieu of sending flowers, Fay would have appreciated a donation to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
