After the Navy he returned to Kingsville and began a career in printing at the Kingsville Record for a number of years before he began working at Celanese. Our Uncle Bubba (EC), was Texas A & I Javelinas most loyal and dedicated fan, having received a Javelina Fan Award which was richly deserved as he traveled all over the United States to watch their games into his 80's.
