Elva Bustos

Elva Dominguez Bustos, 78, of Merrillville, IN passed away April 22, 2021, with her family by her side.  She was born to Nicolas and Esperanza Dominguez, October 26, 1942 at The King Ranch, Norias Division, Texas.

Elva dedicated 25 years of service at Southlake for Mental Health.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

Elva is preceded in death by her husband, Severo F. Bustos; father, Nicolas Dominguez; brothers, Nicolas (Christina) Dominguez, Jr., and Modesto Dominguez.

She is survived by her mother, Esperanza Dominguez and two children, Roberto D. Bustos of Merrillville, IN, and Ricardo D. (Theresa) Bustos of Valparaiso, IN.  She is also survived by her brother, Daniel Dominguez of Harlingen, TX, sisters, Olga (Joe) Rodriguez of Houston, TX, Elisa (Henry) Abrego of Harlingen, TX; sister-in-law, Valeria Dominguez; four grandchildren, Ricardo F. Bustos, Isabel B. Bustos, Antonio N. Bustos, Vanessa Bustos; and one great grandchild, Amya Bustos; as well as other loving family and friends.

Viewing will begin on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM followed by a Chapel Service at 4:00 PM at Turcotte Piper Mortuary in Kingsville.  Interment will be held at a later date.

The family insists that people make donations in support of their charity of choice in lieu of sending flowers.
