Dora Gaitan

Dora Luz Gaitan, 78, passed away on August 14, 2020 in Kingsville, Texas. She was born on January 8, 1942 in Bishop, Texas to Dominga and Antonio Jimenez Jr. Dora absolutely loved shopping at Walmart. She had a heart of gold and unconditional love for her family. When around her you could not help but to feel happy because that is just the way she was. Dora was an angel here on Earth and now she has her wings that she truly deserves. She will be remembered as a caring, mother to all her siblings, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Dominga Jimenez; brothers, Hector Gaitan, Chon Gaitan, Jose Jimenez; and nephew, David Mendez Jr.

Dora is survived by her brother, Carlos (Monga) Jimenez; sister, Lupita (David) Mendez; step-father, Antonio Jimenez Jr.; nephews, Noe Gaitan and family, Ivan Gaitan, Patricio Gaitan and family, Damian Gaitan and family, Hector Gaitan Jr. and family, Michael (Monica) Mendez and family, Joel Gaitan and family; nieces, Virginia (Ruben) Peña and family, Veronica Gunter and family, Jennifer J. Swink, and Virginia (Jason) Reynaldo.

The family will be having a private visitation. Graveside service will be held at a later date.
