Clara Rubin

Clara Rubin, age 89, passed away February 28, 2020, in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  She was born on October 11, 1930 in Kingsville, Texas to Alfred and Marie Ploug.  Clara spent most of her years in Kingsville.  She married E. E. Moore and raised two children together until he preceded her in death.

Clara was a long- time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, was a member of the Kingsville Women’s Club and was on the Ricardo School Board.  She worked some years for Kleberg Bank and later became a nurse providing much love and care to many.  Clara was a loving wife and mother, and nothing seemed to make her happier than being a Granny.   She was loved and will be missed by all those that knew her.

Clara is survived by her husband, Fred Rubin; son, George (Tammy) Moore; daughter, Karen Moore; grandson, Joshua (Elizabeth) Leone; granddaughters, Mandy (LJ) Moore Cormier and Morgan Moore; great-grandsons, Tex and Gage Cormier; great-granddaughter, Ellie Cormier; brother Charlie Ploug and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Friday, March 6, 2020, 1:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Kingsville.  Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
