Amari Jaylon Jones was born on June 15, 2022, and peacefully passed away, with his family by his side, on August 25, 2022 at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus, Christi, Tx.
He was born in Kingsville, Tx to Neveah Reyes and Christopher Jones. Although Amari was only on this earth for a short time, he will forever be in our hearts. Amari brought so much joy to everyone who surrounded him. He loved gripping his daddy’s finger tightly and hearing his mommy softly say, “I love you, Bubbas.” Amari’s favorite time was feeding time, he also loved snuggling with his mommy and daddy. He was a very healthy and happy baby. Amari will be missed so much by all of his family.
Survivors include his parents Neveah Reyes and Christopher Jones, Maternal Aunts and Uncles; Mallari and Jayden Pena and Chance, Mariya and Malaysia Clack. Maternal Grandparents; Melissa Reyes-Pena (Raul Pena) and MacArthur Clack. Maternal Great Grandparents; Sally Reyes, Robert DeLaRosa, and Sandra Woodruff, and, Maternal Great Great Grandmother; Carmen Pena, Maternal Great Aunts; Sandi Reyes (Angel Moreno), Jenny Reyes, Nicki Delarosa (Tres Castillo), Selena Delarosa (PJ Lopez), Jessica Clack, Chris Rhone (Sandy Rhone) and Marcus Rhone (Marva Rhone).
Paternal Grandmother; Donia Tatum, Paternal Aunts and Uncles; Felicia, Jayden, London, Jordan and Shawn Jones and Brianna, Jade and Alexandria Tatum, Paternal Great Grandmothers; Sandra Jefferson and Rochelle Jones, Paternal Great Aunts and Uncles; Jackie, James, Kenneth, Rhonda and Ricky Jones.
The family will receive condolences at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary on August 31, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00pm with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. A chapel service will be at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary on Thursday September 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Burial to immediately follow at Chamberlain Cemetery in Kingsville, TX.
