Alfredo Garcia Jr.

Alfredo Garcia Jr., age 41, went to be with our Lord on August 22, 2019 in Kingsville, Texas. He was born on June 25, 1978 in Carrizo Springs, Texas to Alfredo Garcia Sr. and Yolanda Marquez. Alfredo began working at the age of 17 in the oil field and worked his way up to become a driller supervisor. He loved plants, racing, and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a devoted uncle and loved his family, nieces, and nephews. Alfredo always surrounded himself with family.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Margarita Garcia and Mateo C. Garcia; and maternal grandparents, Pura Marquez and Paniflo Guerrero.

Alfredo is survived by his daughter, Bianca Garcia; son, Alfredo Garcia III (Tres); mother, Yolanda Marquez; father, Alfredo Garcia Sr.; brother, Ricardo M. Garcia and sister-in-law, San Juanita Garcia; sister, Teresa M. Silva and brother-in-law, John David Silva; sister, Eloisa Jimenez and brother-in-law, Michael Jimenez; brother, Felipe de Jesus Garcia; granddaughter, Audrianna Grace Hiracheta; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas 78363.

O Lord God almighty, I pray Thee by the Precious Body and Blood of Thy divine Son Jesus, which He gave with His own hands upon the eve of His passion to His beloved apostles to be their meat and drink, and which He left to His whole Church to be a perpetual sacrifice and the life giving food of His own faithful people, deliver the souls in purgatory, and especially that one which was most devoted to this mystery of infinite love, that he may with Thy divine Son, and with Thy Holy Spirit, ever praise Thee for Thy love therein in eternal glory. Out of the depths I have cried to Thee, O Lord; Lord, hear my voice.

Let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

If Thou, O Lord, shalt mark iniquities; Lord, who shall stand?

For with Thee there is merciful forgiveness:

and by reason of Thy law I have waited for Thee, O Lord.
