Yolanda V. Jimenez, 73, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on July 27, 1953, in McAllen, Texas.

Yolanda was a strong-willed, loving woman with a great sense of humor and a personality all her own. She loved deeply, spoke her mind, and always knew exactly what she wanted. She was a devoted mother who cherished her children and treasured the time they spent together. Her free spirit, passionate heart, and unwavering love made her truly unforgettable.

For 21 years, Yolanda worked in the hospitality industry at El Tapatio, where she made many wonderful friends and brought smiles and joy to countless customers. She was someone who knew how to make people feel welcome.

Yolanda found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She loved sitting outside enjoying the weather, tending to her plants, dancing with family and friends, and going on adventures to discover new places with her children. She loved making memories, sharing laughter, and enjoying life with the people closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Tony Lee Macias.

Yolanda is survived by her loving children, Yvonne Briseno (Paul Briseno), Manuel Jimenez Jr. (Liza Jimenez), Rosa Ortiz (Santiago Ortiz), Marco Jimenez (Monica Jimenez), Crystal Macias Munoz (J.R. Munoz), and Kassandra Montes (Jesus Montes); her companion and dear friend, Robert Peralez; daughter-in-law, Jewlie Macias; 24 grandchildren; Along with numerous great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends who will forever cherish her loving memory.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary; with a prayer service to be celebrated at 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude that evening.

Her love will forever live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She touched many lives throughout her years and will continue to watch over and bless her loved ones from Heaven.
