Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Wanda Boyer Allday on June 27, 2026 at the age of 80.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Rozena Boyer, her husband, Les Allday, and her son-in-law, Lynn Hayes.

Born on November 17, 1945, in Kingsville, Wanda lived a life defined by love, kindness, and devotion to her family. She was known for her warm heart, generous spirit, and the way she made everyone feel welcome.

She is survived by her children, Sheri Hayes, Steve Schonefeld (Laina), Alyse Baros (Kody), Calvin Schonefeld (Shannon), her grandchildren, Jason Haggerton, Kelsey Varga (Levi), Chad Hayes (Gabriella), Craig Hayes, Austin Schonefeld (Brittany), Ashtin Smith (Logan), Peyton Baros (Carley) Chase Baros, Clay Baros (Lacey), Hailey Schonefeld, Hunter Schonefeld her 11 great-grandchildren; and her beloved brother, Gerald Boyer and his wife, Joleen.

Wanda worked as a Bakery Manager for HEB before continuing her career with Pest Fog and later Bedingfield Pest Control. She was known for her strong work ethic and the lasting friendships she made throughout her career.

She found joy in decorating her home, shopping, and searching for hidden treasures at estate sales. Wanda was a proud and dedicated member of the Kingsville Noon Lions Club, where she faithfully served her community for many years. Throughout her membership, she held several leadership positions, and was honored with numerous local and state awards in recognition of her commitment and service.

Above all, Wanda cherished her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating memories they will treasure for years to come.

Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Wanda's life on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas. Family will receive condolences from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service beginning at 6:00. p.m.

The family appreciates the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time as they gather to celebrate Wanda's life and the many cherished memories she leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kingsville Noon Lions Club, Texas Lions Camp or the charity of your choice.
