Victoria Garcia

Former Corpus Christi resident Victoria O. Garcia, 87, of Bishop, died Feb. 1, 2015 in Corpus Christi.
She was born Nov. 17, 1927 to Alfredo and Paula Ortegon in Kingsville.
Garcia was retired from Corpus Christi Independent School District in the food service department.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Maria Garcia; parents; brother, Meliton Ortegon and sister, Pilar Orona.
Survivors include her sisters, Florinda O. Garza of Houston, Aurora O. Salinas of Kingsville, Longina (Olegario) Naranjo of Freeport and Irene (Merrill) Solesky of Corpus Christi and numerous nieces and nephews. She was loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2 at Resthaven Cemetery in Kingsville.
Arrangements are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
