Tomasita Cisneros Mascorro

Tomasita Cisneros Mascorro, 62, a strong christian woman, and cherished member of our family was called home to be with our Lord on June 9, 2024. “Tammy” as she was known by family and friends was born on April 4,1962 She was born to Pedro and Carolina Cisneros in Kingsville Tx.

Tammy was loved by everyone, a strong and courageous woman of faith and hope who would always pray over her family and friends. She shared a gift of friendship, kindness and loyalty with everyone she met. Tammy loved the holidays and family gatherings. Every year she would gather the family to make Christmas ornaments, host pumpkin decorating contests and would take every opportunity to turn a family gathering into a loteria party.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Carolina Cisneros; brother Pete Cisneros; sister, Eloisa Barela; and granddaughter Angel Marie Mascorro

She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be remembered by her surviving family members, her loving husband of 44 years, Willie Mascorro; her son and only child, JR (Jennifer) Mascorro; her pride and joy, her grandchildren, Genesis and Matthew Mascorro; sister, Lupe (Efren) Cisneros Gomez; and the numerous nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

A viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary; with a chapel service to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  A rite of committal and interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
