Sylvester Robert Suarez III, 33, passed away on August 15, 2026 in Riviera, Texas. He was born on August 10, 1993, in Henderson, North Carolina.
Sylvester was a proud graduate of H.M. King High School, Class of 2012. He continued his education at Coastal Bend College, where he studied welding for one year.
Sylvester enjoyed many things in life, especially playing baseball and spending time at the beach. He was an avid sports fan who loved football and proudly supported the Houston Texans. Baseball held a special place in his heart, and he was a devoted Houston Astros fan.
Above all, Sylvester cherished his family. His nieces and nephew were his pride and joy, and he loved caring for and spending time with them. Known as the clown of the family, Sylvester had a special way of making people laugh and could brighten everyone's day with his personality and sense of humor. His laughter, kindness, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sylvester Suarez Sr. and Francisca Ruiz Suarez; maternal grandfather, Roberto Montiel Jr.; uncles, Jose Rene Montiel, Jesus Santos Suarez, and Rodolfo Cadena; and aunt, Leonicia Suarez Cadena.
Sylvester is survived by his loving parents, Sylvester Suarez Jr. and Sarita M. Suarez; his sisters, Kimberly Suarez (Leo Reina III) and Alexandria S. Garcia (Gage Garcia); and his beloved nieces and nephews, Adriana R. Suarez, Jeremiah D. Suarez, Raelynn F. Suarez, Kirax K. Garcia, Ezekiel J. Suarez, and Katalina Y. Garcia.
The family will receive condolences from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary; with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with an interment following at Riviera Cemetery.
Sylvester will be remembered for his loving heart, playful spirit, and the happiness he brought to his family and friends. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew him forever.
