Sundra Martin

Sundra Martin, age 77, passed away on March 9, 2019 in Kingsville, Texas. She was born on March 6, 1942 to James and Edna Thomas Alsbrooks. Sundra was an operator supervisor for Southwestern Bell in Houston and was later transferred to Kingsville where she met the love of her life Michael Martin. Upon retirement she began working for the Kingsville School District. She also worked at 1st Baptist Church where she was a member.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Martin, her parents, Edna Alsbrooks and James Alsbrooks, her brother Buster Alsbrooks, her sisters, Earlene Pitner, Nannette Rumsey, and Sandra Sulester.
She is survived by her sister, Janice Sartors and multiple nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary on March 12, 2019.
In Lieu of Flowers memorials can be made to 1st Baptist Church.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary.
