Ruben Maldonado

Ruben Maldonado, 64, passed away on May 22, 2020 in Kingsville, Texas. He was born on April 9, 1956 in Port Lavaca, Texas to Moises and Sabitas Maldonado. One of his favorite pastimes was to go fishing. Ruben was very special to us because of his gift. He made everyone laugh and reminded us that things aren’t as bad as they seem. He always gave of himself to others and people loved him for that.

He is preceded in death by both his parents.

Ruben is survived by his four sisters, Sylvia Gutierrez (Daniel), Odilia Martinez (Joe), Eliza Rayes (Guadalupe), and Estella Espino; and one brother, Rene Maldonado.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Interment will follow at Evangelico Cemetery in Bishop, Texas.
