Ronald Dean Heier

Ronald Dean Heier ended his life at the age of 59 on August 26, 2022, in Kingsville, TX.  He was born February 19, 1963, in Quinter, KS to Leo and Agnes (Marqueling) Heier.  Ronald had many job titles throughout his life including being in the Air Force, owning a restaurant, and other odd jobs. He married his first wife Nancy in 1990. They raised their children Kara and Austin in Wisconsin and Kansas. They divorced in 2009.  Ronald reconnected with Melissa Katt in 2016. They fell in love and were married November 13, 2017. After the death of his son in April 2022, he and Melissa moved to Texas to be near the ocean.

He is preceded in death by his son, Austin; and parents, Leo and Agnes Heier.

He is survived by wife Melissa of Kingsville, TX; daughter, Kara Collins (Derek) of Missouri, stepdaughter, Kayde Malcom of Norton, stepson, Matthew Malcom of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Tyler and Chloe Collins of Missouri and Harper Heier of Quinter; brothers, Leon (Joan) of Hays, Jim (Tina) of Luray, and Dave (LeeAnn) of Ohlsburg; sisters, Carol McGuire (Ray) of Oakley and Kathleen Heinrich of Ellis.
