Roberto Puente

Roberto Puente, 60, passed away on June 9, 2019, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on July 24, 1958 in Kingsville, Texas to Felimon Puente and Elida Contreras. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Spurs fan. His hobbies included wood work, playing the key board, and buying his lottery tickets. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and a devoted Catholic.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Xavier Felimon Puente and Felimon Puente, one brother in law; Librado Palacios.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ofie Puente, one son; Robert Christopher Puente, two brothers; Jaime (Elena) Puente, and Ruben (Mirta) Puente, two sisters; Mary Lou (Jose) Gonzales and Anabel Palacios, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with a rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at St. James Catholic Church Bishop, Texas. Interment will be held at a later date.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas 78363.
