Rene Ramos

Rene Ramos, 50, passed away on April 7, 2019 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born September 4, 1968 in Kingsville, Texas to Felipe Ramos and Jackie Mendez.

Rene was a locomotive engineer with Union Pacific Railroad for 21 years. He was a loving and devoted son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. He will be dearly missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his father, Felipe Ramos; brother, Felipe Ramos, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Manuel and Maria Garcia; and paternal grandparents, Jose and Juanita Ramos.

He is survived by his mother Jackie Mendez; daughters, Selina Ramos, Emily Ramos; son, Rene Ramos, Jr.; Grandchildren, James Ramos, Adria De La Rosa, Nathan Ramos; siblings, Sylvia (David) Ruiz , David (Linda) Ramos, Rueben (Connie) Ramos, Corinna (Tony) Lira, Nadia (David) Ramirez; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2019 from 5 to 8 PM at Turcotte- Piper Mortuary in Kingsville. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Coastal Bend Felllowship Church in Kingsville. Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville, Texas.
