Obituary

Reba Staff, a woman of grace, warmth, and unwavering faith, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026, at the age of 93.

Reba was known for her gentle spirit and kind heart. She had a way of uplifting everyone around her with her sweetness and genuine care. A lady of strong faith, she lived her life with quiet strength, compassion, and dignity, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue through generations.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Reba loved shopping and thrifting, often spending her days exploring garage sales in search of hidden treasures. After a long day of browsing, she enjoyed treating herself to a mocha frappuccino from Starbucks—a small ritual that brought her great happiness. At home, she took pride in tending to her beautiful rose garden, nurturing each bloom with patience and care.

Reba was also known as an exceptional cook and baker. Her kitchen was a place of comfort and gathering, filled with the aromas of homemade meals and freshly baked goods. Family and friends will forever cherish the memories made around her table.

She carried herself with elegance and class, always presenting herself with poise. More importantly, she lived with a heart full of kindness, always ready to offer encouragement, love, and support to those who needed it.

Reba was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Onie (Swindell) Williams; and her brothers, Billy Edwin Williams and James Edward Williams, Jr.

She is lovingly survived by her beloved husband, William Douglas Staff; Children, Doug (Mandy) Staff, Patty (Staff) Hale, and David (Mandy) Staff; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Her family was her greatest joy, and she took immense pride in each and every one of them.

The family will receive condolences from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the First Baptist Church in Bishop, Texas. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026 at the First Baptist Church in Bishop, Texas. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery, Bishop, Texas.
