Raymond Peña

Raymond Peña passed away on July 23, 2022, at the age of 39. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Raymond loved music and sports; especially the Houston Astros. He was a jokester, he loved to pull pranks on his family and enjoyed his time with his grandson and niece; he was a kid at heart.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Ramon V. Peña; maternal grandparents, Mike and Ernestine Sanchez and paternal grandparents, Benito and Maria Peña.

Among those left to cherish his memory are, his daughter, Diamond Peña (Emilio) Garza; grandchild, Angel Garza; mother, Ernestina Peña; siblings, Delilah (David) Martinez, George Peña, Jonathan (Sabrina) Peña; nephew, Sebastian Martinez; nieces, Layla Martinez, Jocelynn Peña; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Friday, July 29, 2022, at Turcotte-Piper Chapel. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
