Ramona Campos Moya "Mona", age 75, passed away on March 9, 2026. Mona was born in Kingsville, Texas, to Sixto and Frances Campos on December 19, 1950. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, and friend to all who knew her.
Mona worked for Walmart as a dedicated employee for over 35 years until her recent retirement in 2025. She cherished the family she gained along with many co-workers. During her free time, she enjoyed gardening, mowing the grass, sewing, and many other arts and crafts. The thing she enjoyed most and always cherished was spending time with her.
Mona was preceded in death by her husband Jose Longino Moya, Sr.; her parents Sixto and Frances Campos; her son Jose Longino Moya, Jr.; sister, Clarita Garcia; and sister-in-law Herendira Moya Adams.
Mona is survived by her son Ramon C. Moya from Ricardo, Texas; her daughters Mary Moya Faragoza from Kingsville, Texas and Grace Moya Grant (Bobby Grant) from Virginia Beach. Her siblings Anna Lee Gracia (Albert), Lupita Portales, Elizabeth Travis (Bob) and Mario Campos. Her grandchildren Aaron Faragoza (Anessa), Bidal Faragoza, Jr. (April), Orlando Faragoza, Josie Garcia, Ramon Moya, Jr. (Aubrey), Nicholas Moya (Isabel), Samuel Moya (Raquelle), Rafael Moya, and Casey Moya. Her great grandchildren Bidal Faragoza III, Natalie Hernandez, Destiney Hernandez, Olivia Grant, Makayla Grant, Xiah Faragoza, Ramsey Moya, Ramon Lane Moya and Roman Moya.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, starting with a visitation at 9:00 am, followed by a funeral service to begin at 9:30 am at Emmanuel Christian Church, with a burial to follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
Mona's love for her family will continue to resonate through the hearts of all who knew her, along with all the joy and warmth that she brought to the world.
