Nicolas Prado

Nicolas Prado, 84 died on Sunday 5/26/2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara of 64 years who went to be with the Lord in January of this year.
Nicolas was surrounded by family and friends before his death. He had battled Alzheimer's for 10 years but the disease never touched his sense of humor or love for his family.
He had a third-grade education and later acquired his plumbing license. He retired from Texas A&M University-Kingsville Maintenance Department. He worked hard all his life to provide for his family.
Nicolas loved the Lord and was a true servant, he was the first to show up at church and one of last to leave. He served as a deacon at Coastal Bend Fellowship.
He leaves behind four children, Joe (Cindy), Norma, Carmela (Henry), and Nick, Jr. (Norma). He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren Jared, Hannah, Bianca, Sofia, Abran, Angie and Estevan Jr. and 4 great grandchildren Beckham, Shepard, Sadie, and Charlotte.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 5 to 8 pm with a Prayer Service at 7 PM at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 10 AM at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
