Natalie Michalk Felder/Wolter, 86, of Bishop, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 28, 2016. She was born October 2, 1929, to John G. and Irma Bertram Michalk. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bishop, Texas. She was a member of LWML at St. Paul and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Natalie is survived by her two sisters, Mary (Dale) Rauh and Gert (Jim) Kosik; two sisters-in-law, Kathy Michalk and Elvira Michalk; four children, Ted (Laura) Felder, Philip Felder, Ken (Debbie) Felder, and Paulette (Tommy) Pugh; grandchildren, Leigh Garza, Kristin (Ron) Branyon, Kendra (Chris) Bartlett, Matthew Ray Felder, Tim (Amanda) Felder, Billy Pugh, and Kayla Pugh; 11 great-grandchildren with another arriving in June; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives in the surrounding area.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Larry, Gene, and Franklin Michalk; sister-in-law Margie (Gene) Michalk; and daughter-in-law Connie (Philip) Felder.
Natalie received an award for selling the most war bonds during World War II. She also kept a scrap book of all the Bishop boys in service during the war.
Family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2nd at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, May 3rd at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bishop with Pastor Matthew Ulmer officiating. Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery. A family and friends fellowship and meal will be provided after the graveside service at St. Paul Lutheran Parish Hall.
Active pallbearers will be Ron Branyon - husband of granddaughter, Chris Bartlett - husband of granddaughter, Tim Felder - grandson, Matthew Felder - grandson, Jordan Garza - great- grandson, Billy Pugh -grandson, Dale Rauh - brother-in-law of Natalie and Jim Kosik - also brother-in-law of Natalie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 801 East Main Street, Bishop, Texas 78343.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, Kingsville, Texas.
