Mila Brisbin

Mila Joan Brisbin, 82, went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2018. She was born on November 15, 1936 in Chickasha, OK to parents Ivan and Eva Rutherford.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Eva Rutherford; husband, James Ward Brisbin; granddaughter, Kaitie Harborth.
She has left to cherish her memories daughter; Linda (Joe Muennink) Harborth of Rockport, TX; son, James Brisbin of McAllen, TX; brother, Miles "Buddy" Rutherford of Seguin, TX; sister, Mary Rutherford Tiner of Bossier City, LA; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mila was a school teacher for Jim Hogg County I.S.D. until her retirement. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 at Turcotte-Piper Chapel located at 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Greenhill Cemetery in Hebbronville, Texas.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas.
