Michael “Richard” Treviño lived life with a youthful spirit and believed there was always a reason to bring people together. As the youngest of his siblings, he never outgrew his love of family, friends, and celebrating life’s moments. Whether it was a holiday, birthday, barbecue, or simply an afternoon spent together, Richard rarely passed up an opportunity to enjoy the company of those he loved. He found joy in good conversation, shared meals, laughter, and making memories that would be talked about for years to come.

Richard had a way of reminding those around him to enjoy life and appreciate the people who make it meaningful. He understood that some of life’s greatest moments weren’t the extraordinary ones, but the ordinary days spent surrounded by family and friends. His legacy lives on in the stories that will continue to be shared, the traditions that will be carried on, and the countless memories that bring smiles to those who knew and loved him.

Richard was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Maria and Didio Treviño, and by his siblings, Dalia and Bill.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Sonya and Sierra; Dalena, with whom he shared two wonderful daughters and a lifetime of memories; his cherished grandsons, Sebastian and Landyn; his siblings, Thelma, Yolanda, Carla, and Didio Jr. (Lupe); as well as his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Though he may no longer be with us, his love for bringing people together will continue to live on every time family gathers, stories are shared, laughter fills the room, and old memories are remembered.

A Celebration of Life honoring Michael “Richard” Treviño will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, starting at 11:00 AM, with a funeral service following at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to join us as we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, friendship, and the moments that matter most.
