Maria Castro

Maria Guadalupe G. Castro, age 80, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 in Houston, Texas. She was born December 12, 1934 in Brownsville, Texas. Mrs. Castro, a homemaker, was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Federico G. Castro, Jr.
Mrs. Castro is survived by five daughters, Anna Maria Castro and LizBeth Kurtin, both of Katy, Texas, Sylvia Castro, Alma Yolanda Posada and Gloria Yvette Castro, all of Kingsville; two sons, Robert Castro and Federico Castro III, both of Kingsville; two sisters, Angela Wardwell of Chicago, Illinois and Alicia McFarland of Charlotte, Indiana; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2015 at St. Martin's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
