Margaret Eileen Gabba went to see her Heavenly Father and her beloved son Joey Gabba on June 11, 2019 at the age of 84 in Katy, Texas (formerly from Kingsville, Texas). Eileen, as she was known to family and friends, was born on May 3, 1935 in Topeka, Kansas to Kathleen and Hubert Martin. She grew up in Topeka before her father moved the family to Kingsville, Texas for employment.
She married Raymond Gabba on December 23, 1954 in Kingsville, Texas. Together they ran Gabba's Gun Shop and had 4 children. Eileen was very creative and loved to make crafts, especially quilts and delicious recipes where she entered her creations into many contests. She won awards too numerous to list and was also an avid Star Trek fan and had every episode on DVD. After selling the Gun Shop and retiring, they took many RV trips around the country and their favorite place to visit was Alaska. She loved her Catholic faith and her and Raymond participated in many church activities while their health was good. Her greatest sorrow was losing their youngest son Joseph to Cystic Fibrosis when he was 6 years old.
She is survived by her husband Raymond of Katy, Texas, daughter Kathy (husband Joe), son Paul (wife Cecilia), son Bobby (wife Linda), grandchildren Ashley Mills, Cory Gabba, Christopher (wife Denise) Gabba and numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
She is predeceased by son Joseph Gabba, parents Kathleen and Hubert Martin, siblings Anne Harwell, Mike Martin and John Martin.
