Manuela "Nellie" Cantu-Pollock, a beloved woman whose kindness, strength, and generosity touched the lives of many, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, in Spring Creek, Nevada, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on March 12, 1966, in Los Angeles, California, Oscar and Celia Cantu and raised in Kingsville, Texas. Nellie brought warmth and compassion to every person she encountered throughout her life.

Nellie was well known and cherished for the selfless way she lived her life. She consistently placed the needs of others before her own, embodying a spirit of true generosity. Those who were fortunate enough to know her often described her as a kind soul who welcomed all with open arms, making anyone near her feel like family or a lifelong friend.

Her greatest source of joy was her profound relationship with the Lord and Savior, a spiritual connection that sustained and inspired her daily. Alongside her faith, her family was the centerpiece of her life, nurturing bonds filled with love and unwavering support.

Manuela leaves behind a legacy of kindness and devotion, one that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. She will be remembered for her gentle heart, her welcoming nature, and the strength she quietly carried through life’s challenges. Though she is no longer with us, the impact of her love and generosity endures in the hearts of those she touched.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Celia Cantu; and siblings, Guadalupe Cuevas, Jesus Cantu, Oscar Cantu, and Hernan Cantu.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Tim Pollock; children, Carla (Vincent) Reyes, and Joshua Ramos; step-daughters, Denyel (Louie) Espinosa, and Dana Nash; brother, Jaime (Maryanne) Cantu; sisters, Maria del Carmen (Randy) Witten and Nora Celia (Pete) Brent; grandchildren, Daniel Tizando, Carly and Ciara Gonzalez, Vincent Reyes, Gabriella Reyes, Isabella Reyes, Carmen Reyes, Jaden Alexander Ramos, Chloe Manuela Ramos, Zackary (Shayden) Clark, and Heaven Clark; and great-granddaughter, Nicholle Clark.

The family will receive condolences beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 232026,26 at Central Baptist Church; followed by a celebration of life. A committal service will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
