Luz Barron

Luz M. Barron, age 96, resident of Bishop, Texas passed away April 21, 2018 in Kingsville, Tx. He was born on October 17, 1921 in Linares Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Eologio Barron and Clarita Mendez. Luz worked on a farm most of his life before working as a custodian for Bishop ISD for many years. He was also a devoted member of St. James Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Felipa R. Barron.
He is survived by one daughter Maria Guadalupe of Bishop, Texas; one son Hector (Lupe) Barron of Boerne, Texas; one grandson Hector Barron Jr. of Cotulla, Texas; one granddaughter Adrianna Barron of The Woodlands, Texas; and one sister Maria Barron Gutierrez of Monterrey, Mexico.
Visitation will be Monday, April 23, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Bishop, Texas. A Rosary will also be recited on Monday, April 23 at 7 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery in Bishop, Texas.
