Lucila Lopez

Lucila A. Lopez, 82, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on January 5, 2019, in Baytown, Texas. She was born on November 23, 1936, in San Juan, Texas to Cirilo Aguirre and Rita Anzaldua. Lucila and Samuel Lopez established The Tavern on January 31, 1970.
Lucila is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel R. Lopez; daughter, Cynthia Marie Ramos; son, Russel Allan Fox; one sister; and three brothers.
She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Lee Fox-Garcia (Ruben) of Kingsville, Texas, and Zandra Fox De Sotoborja (Francisco) of Playa del Carmen, Mexico; one son, Ruben Fox (Carol) of Baytown, Texas; three sisters, Melba Pedraza of Chicago, Illinois, Angie Richards of Norfolk, Virginia, and Rosario Cortez of Pharr, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
