We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Lonnie Joe “Butch” Naranjo on August 20, 2023.

While we mourn the loss of such an extraordinary soul, let us celebrate the life that brought so much joy to our own.  Butch will forever remain in the hearts of those he loved; his wife, children, family, and friends.  His presence will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Guadalupe “Buddy” Jr., and Gloria Naranjo; brothers, Jose Guadalupe “Buddy” Naranjo, III. and Bobby Joe Naranjo.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Melissa Saldaña Naranjo; children, Khalysta Jho Naranjo, Soleil Dayanara Lopez, Alessandro Saldaña Lopez, and Khloe Sophia Lopez; nephews, Deandre (Corina) Naranjo and Joey Naranjo; niece, Andrea Naranjo; great-nephew, Deion Naranjo; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends.

A memorial rosary will be recited at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 103 Main St, Sarita, TX; with a memorial mass to follow.  Services will conclude that morning and a private burial will be held at a later date.
