Lisa Hicks

Lisa D. Hicks, age 53, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at her residence. She was born January 15, 1963 in Kermit, Texas. Lisa was employed for Bishop Plaza Apartments as a manager until her retirement.
Lisa was preceded in death by mother, Lamonn Ureno; and brother, James Ureno.
She is survived by two daughters, Lachelle Hicks and Quala Hicks-Rodriguez (Frank), both of Bishop; one son, Zachary Hicks of Bishop; three sisters, Luci Nease (Larry) of Oklahoma, Lanee Lujan (Paul) of New Mexico and Lana Weldy (Steve) of New Mexico; one brother, Ben Bradford of New Mexico; father, Frank Ureno of Kyle, Texas; four grandchildren; husband, Quintin Clay Hicks of Bishop; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel, Kingsville. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
