Leopoldo Ramirez

Leopoldo S. Ramirez, passed away on May 7, 2022, at the age of 85. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend; and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria de los Angeles Ramirez-Garcia; parents, Asencion and Evangelina Ramirez; brother, Nicolas Ramirez; and sister, Petra Ramirez.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Hilda Sonia (Antonio) Garcia, Evangelina Ramirez, and Ana Maria (Michael) Murphy; son, Francisco (Laura) Ramirez; sisters, Maria Luisa (Chavelo) Ramos and Maria Irene (Nestor) Perales; grandchildren, Tony Garcia, Itzel Bast, Christian Garcia, Logan Ramirez, Christian Ramirez, and Maria Ramirez; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, May 16, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary; with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Turcotte-Piper. A rite of committal and interment will follow at Riviera Cemetery.
