Kenneth Wayne “Kent” Anderson, a dedicated and multifaceted individual, was born on January 7, 1947, in Waco, Texas. He passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025. A man of great integrity and character, Kenneth touched the lives of many through his varied accomplishments and unwavering support for his family.

Kenneth is best remembered for his career as a farmer, a vocation he passionately pursued alongside other endeavors such as construction, bull riding, and even scuba diving. His remarkable journey included service in the United States Army as a proud member of the 101st Airborne Division, where he not only defended our nation but also cultivated a deep sense of discipline and commitment that characterized his later pursuits.

Educated at Hubbard High School in Hubbard, Texas, Kenneth continued his education at Navarro College before devoting himself to military service. His life experiences contributed to his reputation as a jack of all trades, possessing knowledge gained from a lifetime of hands-on involvement in various fields. Known for his honest dealings and loyalty, Kenneth was a storyteller who captivated audiences with tales drawn from his rich and diverse past.

His passions were vast, extending to fishing, riding horses, water skiing, and gold mining. Kenneth cherished spending time outdoors and instilled this love in his children through experiences such as teaching them baseball and fishing. Memories of hunting trips and traveling to Florida to deliver an albino alligator are cherished by those who knew him. His adventures also took him across many states, revisiting locations from his youth that undoubtedly shaped him.

Kenneth had a unique way of showing tough love, always advocating for his children to strive for their best. His straightforward approach and dedication were exemplified by his consistent presence in their lives — come hell or high water, he was there to offer unwavering support. From teaching his youngest grandson to play pattycake to enjoying quiet moments over coffee with his children, Kenneth's commitment to family was absolute.

His proudest accomplishments included serving his country, being a member of the Masons, and volunteering as a firefighter. Through welding, farming, and ranching, Kenneth not only demonstrated his skill but also his true passion for hard work and community service.

Kenneth Wayne Anderson leaves behind a legacy characterized by love, dedication, and a wealth of stories waiting to be shared. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen Roland Anderson and Bobbie Jeane Anderson; and brother, Richard Anderson.

Among those left to cherish his memory are children, Tammie (Lance) Krumnow, Kendra Anderson, Marlena Anderson, and Kason Anderson; brother, Ronald Craig (Dorothy) Anderson; sister, Sandra Jeane Anderson; and countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive condolences beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary; with military honors at 11:00 a.m. Services will conclude that morning.
