Karen Sue Bradley

Karen Sue Bradley, 73, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.  She was born November 28, 1949, to Lyle and Elaine Rose in Drayton Plains, Michigan. Sue enjoyed over 50 years being a teacher, school administrator, and university professor.  Her education included two degrees from Michigan State University and her doctorate from Texas A&M University.

She loved children’s books and read many of these to her classes. She was an avid basketball and softball player. She enjoyed camping and visited many state and national parks. Her proudest professional moment was receiving the Regents Professor award from the Texas A&M University system.

Karen Sue is proceeded in death by her parents.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, Jack Bradley; children, Chad (Meaghann), Guy (Rebecca), Jay (Rachael), and Alicia (James); brothers, Kerry (Susan) Rose and Rick (Terri) Rose; and 13 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, Kingsville, Tx.  Services will conclude that afternoon.
