Juan Gonzalez

Juan Jose Gonzalez, born in Montemorelos, Mexico, on July 11, 1940, peacefully departed from this world on May 12, 2025 at the age of 84 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He is now resting peacefully in the arms of his lord.

He is preceded in death by his father, Juan Jesus Gonzalez, his mother, Cruz Rivas De Gonzalez, and his brother, Benito Rivas Gonzalez.

Juan is survived by his wife, Francisca Andrade Gonzalez, and their children: Oscar Gonzalez, Gilbert (Elida) Gonzalez, Joel (Letty) Gonzalez, Delia (Lyndsey) Cantu, Rosie Gonzalez, and Cruz (Robert) Gonzalez. His grandchildren include Nicolas (Mary An) Rivera, Jaycee (Brena) Ventura, John Patrick (Angielynn) Gonzalez, Isabel (Chris) Nino, Mario Campos, Joel Gonzalez Jr., Daniel Gonzalez, Selvestre (Sass) Garcia, Martika Garcia, Emelda Cruz Garcia, Daela Rose Garcia, Hektor Gonzalez, Teresa Gonzalez. His numerous great-grandchildren, include Isla Rivera, Talia Rivera, Lucas Gonzalez, Dahlia Lucia Gonzalez, Kingston Nino, Kross Nino, Ermias Nino, Andres Campos, Eduardo Campos, Adrian Campos, Mateo Campos, Amarah Campos, Mario Campos III, Zaylynn Campos, Kalysa Gonzalez, Rafela Garcia, Ruby Garcia, and Selvestre Garcia Jr.

Juan is also survived by his sisters Maria De Jesus Gonzalez De Melendez, Ricarda Gonzalez De Cisneros, and Francisca Lozano.

The services to honor Juan’s life will take place at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville, Texas. A visitation is scheduled for May 18, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, including a Prayer Service that will begin at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on May 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM, concluding with an interment at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery at 11:15 AM.

Juan Jose Gonzalez leaves behind an indelible mark on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
