It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joe Barber Dorroh, age 66, who passed away on March 9, 2026, in Kingsville, Texas. Joe B. Dorroh was born on October 11, 1959, to Edgar Joe Dorroh and Barbara Roberts. His life was marked by the love he shared with family and friends, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Joe Dorroh worked as a wind technician and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his craft. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved family and friends, especially fishing and hunting with those he loved most. Joe was never short of a good story, often sharing them in a way that ended in laughter. There was never a problem or project he wasn’t willing to take on and solve. He was widely known for his skilled craftsmanship, woodworking abilities, and his unique talent for problem-solving.
Joe was also a valued member of his local community. He could often be found relaxing on his front porch swing at the “Hog Light Lounge,” enjoying a cold glass of whiskey and the company of friends and neighbors.

Joe is survived by his children Jacob Dorroh, Riley Dorroh, and Macy Dorroh Christiansen; mother, Barbara Roberts; sister, Beverly (Jim) Hatch; grandchildren, Penelope Williams, Anakin Williams, and Levi Dorroh; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends and extended family members.
Joe’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
