Jesus "Jesse" Campos Guzman

Jesus “Jesse” Campos Guzman, age 60, entered eternal rest on February 6, 2026. He was born on August 4, 1965, in Galveston, Texas, to the late Ruperta and Benjamin Guzman.

Jesse lived a life rooted in love, hard work, and devotion to those around him. Music was his soul’s language, and he found peace and joy in playing the guitar. A man of many talents, Jesse was skilled in carpentry, concrete work, and auto mechanics, always willing to lend his hands and heart wherever he was needed. He also cherished quiet moments fishing and treasured the time spent surrounded by family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ruperta and Benjamin Guzman, and his sister, Odelia Hinojosa.

He leaves behind a legacy of love in his children, his son Omar Guzman and his daughter Brandi Celeste Chavez; his brothers Ricardo Guzman and Benjamin Guzman; his sisters Rosario Cavazos, Juanita Medrano, and Emma Gutierrez; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

The family will receive condolences beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the Praise Victory Church (1800 E Corral Ave) in Kingsville, Tx; with a Memorial service to be celebrated at 4:00 p.m. Services will conclude that evening.

Though he is no longer with us in body, Jesse’s spirit, kindness, and music will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him.
