Jeffrey Joseph Reopelle ("Jeff"), 67, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on May 24, 2026.  Born on February 21, 1959, in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, Jeff enlisted in the United States Navy in 1975. His military service took him to many parts of the world, including Hawaii, Chicago, San Diego, and Bremerton, Washington. Following his military career, he worked at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital–Kleberg and later dedicated almost 20 years of service to Texas A&M University–Kingsville.

Jeff was known for his generous spirit, mechanical expertise, and willingness to help others. Whether repairing an air conditioner, working on a vehicle, or lending a hand to a friend, he was always ready to assist. He enjoyed model airplanes, computer gaming, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, listening to music, traveling, and exploring new foods. A lifelong fan of science fiction, Jeff especially loved Star Wars and closely followed the achievements of SpaceX. His curiosity, sense of adventure, and enthusiasm for the future remained with him throughout his life.

Despite facing Multiple Sclerosis, a liver transplant, and pancreatic cancer, Jeff maintained a positive outlook and an enduring smile. He remained hopeful and determined throughout life's challenges.

Jeff was preceded in death by his wife, Chrisyn Reopelle; and his father, Robert Reopelle.

He is survived by his mother, Fran Reopelle Schroeder; daughters Danea Reopelle, Serena (Ruben) Munoz, and Nichelle Reopelle; beloved grandchildren Gabriel Reopelle, Dalanna Reopelle, and Kaitlyn Munoz; his companion of ten years, Maria Sanchez of Corpus Christi; siblings Bobbi (Brad) Taylor, Todd (Dee) Reopelle, Laurie (Lewis) Cannon, and Scott (Lisa) Reopelle; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
