Javier Perez Jr. (Javi) formerly of Kingsville, TX, a devoted father, beloved son, brother, and friend was surrounded by loved ones when he passed on March 2, 2021, in Philadelphia, PA. He was born on August 25, 1974, to Javier Perez Sr. and Graciela Garcia Perez of Kingsville, TX. Javi graduated from H.M. King High School in 1992 and received his B.B.A. in Computer Information Systems from Texas A&M University Kingsville in 2001. Javi touched the lives of many with his great sense of humor and wit and his gentle and caring ways. He left this world at the young age of 46, but was welcomed into heaven by his paternal grandparents, Sabas Sr. and Josefa Perez, and his maternal grandparents, Blas and Consuelo Garcia as well as other loved ones who preceded him in death.
Javi had a passion for music and always had a tune close to his heart. Whether it was learning a new song on the guitar, making music with his friends, or interpreting the poetry in the lyrics, his love for music was rooted deep within him. He was a loving father who shared his passion and talent for music with his only son, Vincent, creating a bond that will last forever.
Javi generously shared his heart and passion with his friends and family through his love of life as well as his appreciation of the simpler things. Spending time in local libraries, hiking, mountain biking, gardening, exploring, and spending time with his family and his many friends were some of the ways he enjoyed life. He will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his parents, Javier Perez Sr. and Graciela Perez; son, Vincent Javier Perez; brother, Tony Perez (Bea’Antionette); niece, Amelia Rae; nephews, Antonio and Joey; brother, Mike Perez (Tammy Blade); and his love Krystan Hale.
