Isidoro Piñeda

Isidoro (Izzy) Piñeda, of Bishop, Texas passed away on June 17, 2022, at the age of 80. He was born October 9, 1941, in Falfurrias Texas to Ruben Piñeda Sr. and Cleotilde Martinez Piñeda. He graduated from Falfurrias high school in 1960. Isidoro was in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964. He was employed for 39 years at Corpus Christi Army Depot before retiring in April 2001.

Isidoro was preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Jo Pineda; father, Ruben Piñeda Sr., and mother, Cleotilde Martinez Piñeda; brothers, Ruben Piñeda Jr. and Leonel Piñeda.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Lori Jones Pineda; children, Christian (Jennifer) Pineda, Patricia Pineda, Dave Coronado, Christina (Daniel ) Riep, Jeffrey (Vanida) Coronado, Kimberly (Justin )Garcia, and bonus daughter Maddie Coronado; sisters, Linda (Will)Perkins, Ana (Pete)Vasquez, Ella (Richard) Hoolahan; brother, Oscar (Glenda)Pineda; grandchildren, Cade Pineda, Lucas Pineda, Austin (Bailee) Silva, Kennedy, and Kyleigh Silva, Catherine Quijas, Mikayla, and Michelle Barrientes, Micah Coronado, McKinley Riep, Julien and Elahnia Garcia.

A holy rosary will be recited at 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Gertrude Catholic church at 12:00 PM. Services will conclude after mass and an urn burial will take place at a later date.
